My Story
I grew up in Russia, where ADHD wasn’t widely understood, and carried my half-recognized challenges into a 30-year career in corporate America. Despite excitement, success, and moments of fulfillment, throughout my career I faced frequent frustration and recurring burnout that I couldn’t fully explain. I recognized these patterns from observing my father’s and grandmother’s behaviors during my childhood, but without a name for them, I didn’t know how to address them and continued to push through the best I could.
Everything shifted when my older daughter was diagnosed with ADHD at age 10. That moment launched my journey of self-discovery, helping me recognize that the bright imagination, intuition, and emotional intensity shared by many members of my family were hallmarks of a unique brain style. Through reading, research, and reframing of my own experiences, I learned how mindset and self-compassion can transform struggle into joy. Today, after completing my training with the IACT Center, I am an ADHD Life Coach dedicated to helping others navigate their challenges and find clarity, confidence, and fulfillment.
